Something to do when you have nothing to do

Hey bloggers!
Nowadays I'm reading a books that seems to be very interesting. I'm sure you all know about it, the book's name is Hamlet and its written by William Shakeaps (sorry I don't know how to spell his name )

So I just wanted  to recommend the book to you. Its very good and the vocabulary is simple and manageable. As we don't have much to do this summer why don't you give a try to this book. Have a look I'm sure you'll like it.

I guess I don't need to write the story as we all know what it is about . After all Hamlet is one of the most famous works of W.S.
Even that if I had to explain Hamlet in one line it would be something like this: The tragedy of Hamlet traces the admirable portrait of a legendary Prince of Jutland who is dreamy, contemplative, but  lost in doubt and irresolution because of his father's death. That's why in order to finally   solve all the  mysteries and secrets   around him Hamlet is  forced to clarify the reasons that led his father to death. In his way Hamlet will not only find those secrets but he will also gain self-sufficiency.

happy reading!

What if I ask you what's your favourite sport?

A topic that often gets sport fans squabbling is when they are asked to name what they think is the best sport in the world.
There are thousands of sports payed around the world and of course it's difficult to choose just one among all of them. Especially when every sport has its ins and outs. Every sport except one : yoga.

Developed in an ancient India, yoga is not only a spiritual practise that has been evolving for the last who know how many years but its also one of the few disciplines that has no point against. Along the years lots of sports came but sooner or later they had to leave. However yoga is one of  the few sports which came to stay.

There are many reasons to practise yoga. It can not only improve your physical conditions but it also enriches and enhance your most beloved thing , the one and only : your spirit.
It's a discipline that though meditation helps you to gain a moral asceticism and the physical exercises help you to develop a higher level of conscience and to integrate physical, mental and spiritual aspects of a person.
It's true that the benefits are noticeable after a prolonged time. But that's because yoga "repairs" your body from its  roots, from every cell. So it's worth waiting. And if this isn't enough it also increases life expectancy. The fact that by doing it just once a day it influences in your behaviour and mental health is surely its most attractive benefit.

Grey's anatomy

Grey's anatomy is my favourite programme, it is a medical drama.
This series is about the world of medicine about the relationship of the actors, the love affairs residents, and the relations between the interns.

Cristina, Isobel Stevens and Meredith are interns in the surgery programme in the Seattle Grace Hospital.

Derek, Pretson and Mark Sloan are the residents, they are surgeons.
Àlex Karev and George O'Malley are the interns also in the programme of their friends, their residents is Miranda.

Meredith Grey falls in love with Derek Sheperd, the neurosurgeon. They fall in love and they transvers the ploblems about the love.

Cristina Yang and Preston Burke fall in love and they will get married, but Preston in the ceremony leaves and Cristina gets depressed. After that, she loves an other resident.
Isobel Stevens loves Àlex Karev and her best friend, George, when george gets maried with the resident Callie Torres, Stevens realizes that she really loves George. Finally she has a cancer and she gets maried to Àlex, and George died in a accident.

This TV programme has love, real priblems in the real life... It is the best series about medicine after DR. House.

Hexagon Race

Idea taken from Reward Intermediate Resource Pack.

Procedure:

  1. The object of the game is to get a line of connecting hexagons, either from the top of the board to the bottom or from one side to the other.
  2. A team gets an hexagon by answering a question correctly.
  3. The first team chooses an hexagon from the top row of the game board. This is where their line will begin.
  4. It is a good idea to try to block the other team.
  5. The first team to get a line of hexagons from top to bottom or from one side to the other is the winner.
